Does gelato contain milk?

All of our gelato flavours are milk-based and contain fresh local milk and cream. Only our Sorbet flavours do not contain milk.

What kind of milk do you use?

We proudly source the finest whole milk from local farmers, ensuring the highest quality for our products.

Is the milk pasteurized?

Absolutely. At SNOW Gelato, the milk undergoes a thorough pasteurisation process to ensure safety and quality.

Do any of your gelato flavours contain eggs?

Only a select few of our recipes use pasteurized egg yolks to enhance flavor and texture. If you have an egg allergy, please inform our team, and we’ll guide you to egg-free options.

Are there any dyes or artificial preservatives in your gelato?

None at all. We are committed to natural goodness—our products are free from artificial coloring, dyes, and chemical preservatives.

What kind of chocolate do you use in your chocolate gelato?

We use premium Cocoa Barry chocolate, known for its rich flavour and high quality.

Do you offer dairy-free options?

Yes! Our fruit-based sorbets are completely dairy-free and made with fresh seasonal fruit, natural grape sugars, and plant-based stabilizers.

Are there vegan options available?

Absolutely. Our sorbets are not only dairy-free but also vegan, crafted without any animal products or by-products.

How are your sorbets made?

We mash fresh fruit on the same day and blend it with natural grape sugars and stabilizers. There are no preservatives or artificial additives—just pure, natural flavor.

What’s the difference between gelato and ice cream?

Gelato has a creamier texture and is served at a slightly warmer temperature, making it smoother and more flavorful. It’s made with more milk and less fat than traditional ice cream, and it’s churned slowly for a denser, richer consistency.

Is gelato healthier than ice cream?

Yes, gelato is generally considered a healthier choice than traditional ice cream. It contains up to 75% less butterfat and has about one-third the calories of regular ice cream. Thanks to its lower fat content, gelato won’t leave you feeling thirsty, but instead offers a smooth, refreshing experience.

How many gelato flavors do you have?

At SNOW Gelato, we offer a diverse selection of about 20 delicious flavors, which change based on demand, seasons, and the availability of fresh, seasonal fruit.

What kind of toppings do you offer?

We have a variety of premium toppings to elevate your gelato experience, including biscuits, waffle, roasted almonds & pistachios, and our signature pralines, such as hazelnut and pistachio. However, we always recommend trying our gelato plain first to fully appreciate its rich and authentic flavour!

Do you serve any other sweets at SNOW Gelato?

Yes! In addition to our gelato and refreshing sorbets, we offer a selection of handcrafted desserts. Enjoy our freshly made waffles topped with pralines and delicious add-ons, or try our soft Greek frozen yogurt, available plain or infused with Madagascar vanilla.
